Six weeks of summer day camps - come and join the fun!

Tuesday - Friday @ 9am - 3pm
For 1st - 5th graders (as of the 2026/2027 school year)
Location: Widefield Parks & Recreation - 755 Aspen Dr. 
Fee: $160 per camper/week
In person registration opens April 1, 2026

Camp WPR is an explorative and educational camp focused on providing safe recreational programs, experiences and activities for 1st - 5th graders (as of the 2026-2027 school year). Campers will experience four days each week filled with exploring the grounds of WPR, arts & crafts, open gym time, weekly movie, swimming and a fieldtrip! Camp fees include all activities and a daily snack. Campers have to option to participate in the district’s free summer meals program or bring a sack lunch from home. Camp themes will change weekly and coordinate with all of our exciting activities. Choose your favorite week or choose them all! Every camper receives a camp drawstring bag!

Birth certificate, current immunization record, current physical through duration of camp enrollment, and completed Parks & Rec paperwork for Camp WPR is required when registering.
Automatic credit card payment available for multiple-week attendees!

Week 3: June 23 - 26 - Discovering the Universe - Field Trip: Space Foundation Discovery Center
Week 4: July 7 - 10 – Secret Agent Adventure - Field Trip: Dart Wars
Week 5: July 14 - 17 – Mission: STEM Possible - Field Trip: Buell Children’s Museum
Week 6: July 21 - 24 – Innovators in Action - Field Trip: Security Public Library Makerspace
