What are YOU grateful for? Come swim with us and help fill our grateful wall and make a hand turkey to take home! Join us from 1 - 2:30pm on Saturday, November 20 for our Thanksgiving Celebration! $2 special event admission fee. Please register your party for guaranteed entry! 
 

Create With Us!

Join us for a virtual art challenge! Each month there will be a new theme for the challenge. All entries will be posted on social media for the public to vote for a winner! Please submit a photo of your entry to reevesn@wsd3.org. 
November’s Theme: Drawing Contest. Contest entry deadline is November 14. Winner will be announced on November 19. 
 
Turn trash into treasure on November 11 from 1 - 2pm! Learn how to transform an ordinary egg carton into a beautiful seasonal wreath. Fee: $15. Ages: 8 - 15. Register by: November 4. 
 
Do you need a break and just some time for you? Join this Saturday morning simple sewing class for beginner sewers on November 13 from 8 - 12pm (adults only please, no childcare provided). There will be 3 projects to choose from, holiday placemats & coasters, patchwork table runner, or hot casserole carrier. Sewers will learn cutting and basic machine sewing skills. No experience needed for this class. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, but not required. Fee: $30. Ages 18+. Register by: November 9. 
 
Mark your calendar for a night of creating and fun on November 16 from 7 - 9pm. You will be making your own framed 3-D initial with buttons, paper, and lace. All materials are provided, but you may also bring old jewelry if you wish to include it. Fee: $25. Ages: 18+. Register by: November 9.
 
Join us on November 23 for a Christmas crafting class. We will make a folded paper art garland with several folding forms, spheres, trees, poinsettias, and angels. Once the garland is folded, you will get to decorate your creation! Fee: $15. Ages: 8-16. Register by: November 16. 
Play With Us!
Come splash with us during Thanksgiving Break! We will have 1 - 2:30pm open swim sessions November 22 - 24. Patrons must register each person in their party on SignUp prior to open swim. See our website for current Open Swim Hours
 
Introducing the 7th & 8th Grade 3v3 Basketball Tournament on November 20! Grab a few friends and come play with us! An adult will need to be designated as your team representative, register the team, join you on the sideline to help coach your team. We will communicate with the team representatives. It will be their responsibility to pass along information to the team. Tournament format will depend on the number of teams registered. Register by November 10.
 
Get your team together and register for the Adult Volleyball Indoor League this winter. The recreational league (self-officiated) has a fee of $120 and the competitive league has a fee of $240.  Each league will consist of eight games. Prizes for the winners! - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
 
COMING SOON! - Come learn the fundamentals of the fastest growing sport in America! Look out for indoor pickleball lessons. Sessions are a total of 4 hours, Monday through Thursday. Only $20! Sounds like a great Dill!

 

Move With Us!

Martial Arts November and December registration is open. With martial arts as a foundation, participants have the opportunity to develop self-awareness and self-confidence. GOJO-RYU KARATE is a comprehensive martial art derived from the Okinawan system of self-defense. Participants of all skill levels can benefit from this program by relieving stress, help with weight loss, coordination, balance, flexibility, stamina, and assist in self-control. Ages 7 and up. Mondays & Wednesdays from 6 - 7:30pm at North Preschool. Register by November 8. 
 
We have a variety of fitness classes for all ages and levels. We have a new POUND class every Wednesday at 6pm and a new shallow water aerobics class on Mondays at 5:30pm. View our current schedule or pick one up in the office. Drop in for only $3 per class!

Creative Kids & Terrific Tots Preschool
There are limited spots in our Preschool classes for the 2021/2022 school year! We offer separate programs for 3 and 4 year olds in order to meet the needs of each student, providing them the opportunity to love learning while preparing them for Kindergarten. Check the Preschool page on our website for details. Register now to secure your child's spot!

 
This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The classroom skills session is on November 13 from 9 - 11am. You will learn how to recognize and treat the following conditions and emergencies: unconsciousness, broken bones, head, neck, and back injuries, stroke, diabetic emergencies, seizures, fainting, poisoning, recognizing signals of heart attack, and more.The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. Allow approximately 3 hours to complete the online portion. Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. Fee: $65. Ages: 11+. Register by: November 7. 
 
Come to the M.I.L.L. November 8 - 10 from 5:30 - 7:30pm and learn the basics of plumbing, electric, and how to complete minor home repairs. Fee: $150. Ages: 16+. Register by: November 3. 
 
This two-day class includes all of the skills and information covered in the American Red Cross Babysitting Class, plus Infant & Child CPR. This fun and interactive training includes lively discussions and real life problem-solving skills, how to handle emergencies or illnesses, basic care-giving skills, how to choose safe and age-appropriate toys and games, and how to handle bedtime and discipline issues effectively.
Class Dates: November 22 & 23 @ 9am - 3pm (please bring a sack lunch). Fee: $100. Ages: 11 - 15. Register by: November 15. 
 
Register now! Spots are still open in our February sessions! Our American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program welcomes children ages 3 - 15. See the chart of skills taught in each level. We offer Saturday morning classes as well as Tuesday and Thursday evening classes. Limited space available. 
Fee: $37.50 per 6 week session
 
Join our USA Swim certified coaches for a 4-day stroke clinic! Perfect your technique on swim strokes, turns and starts. For swimmers in grades 6 - 12.
November 8, 10, 15 & 17 @ 5:30 - 7:30pm
Fee: $50 per 4-day clinic

Facility Expansion

We are excited to share with you some new possibilities because of our growth and prosperity. As a part of making our main campus located at 705 Aspen Drive a community hub and after soliciting feedback from a facility expansion committee and community meetings, we have completed conceptual plans for a new recreation center.
