People 15 years & older may use the fitness area without supervision.

Youth ages 12 – 14 years are permitted to use the fitness area with adult supervision.

All patrons are encouraged to attend the WPR Fitness Area Introduction Class.

Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted in the fitness area unless participating in a Recreation Center supervised program.

Proper fitness attire is required.

No food is permitted in the fitness area.

Drinks must be in non-glass containers and have a sealable spill proof lid.

Widefield Parks & Recreation is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Gym bags and other personal items should be secured in a locker.

If you have questions about equipment, please ask WPR staff for assistance.

Return all weights and equipment to proper location after use.

Use of cardio equipment is limited to 45 minutes per machine.

Weight collars are required on bars when in use.

The use of chalk is prohibited.

Wipe down equipment after use.

Report all injuries to the front desk.

No spitting on floor or equipment.

Unauthorized personal training is prohibited.

No horseplay, loud, or offensive language/profanity. Be courteous and allow others to share equipment and work in with you.

Misuse of equipment, behaviors that cause harm to persons and/or property, actions that interfere with the safe and orderly operation of the Center, and/or failure to abide by Recreation Center rules or staff direction may result in loss of privileges and/or suspension from the Recreation Center.
