Tracy Vsetecka Memorial 5K Event

Join us for the 5th Annual Tracy Vsetecka Memorial 5K Run/Walk. Timed runners will start at 8am and walkers will start at 8:10am. Check-in will be in front of the upper concessions off Widick Dr. by the green field.

Tracy Vsetecka was a principal in the Widefield School District 3 for over 13 years. Her unexpected passing affected many throughout the community. Tracy's engaging presence, positive nature, and ever-present smile made a lasting impact on all she knew and those she had only just met. Her family has joined with Widefield Parks & Recreation and Woodland Wanderers to extend her celebration of life and enjoyment of exercise to the community with a non-competitive walking event in her honor. New this year: Participants may register for a timed 5K event for $35 ($20 for students). Register for the race or join us for a walk and an opportunity to donate to the Tracy Vsetecka Scholarship Fund to continue her legacy.
