Join us for some free, fun, family-friendly entertainment at our Movies in the Park! We will have the big screen set up and viewable for all spectators. Each movie will feature a food truck and activities before the movie begins!
Movies will start at dusk.

Join us for our Trunk or Treat and Movie in the park at Widefield Parks & Recreation. The Trunk or Treat will take place prior to the Movie. Put on your costume and come join the fun! Movie will start at dusk.

Sensory Inclusion Night

Join us for a FREE night of sensory exploration at WPR, fine/gross motor activities, movement fun, and a calming room.

Tracy Vsetecka Memorial Walk

Join us for the 8th Annual Tracy Vsetecka Memorial Walk.

Tracy Vsetecka was a principal in the Widefield School District for over 13 years. Her unexpected passing in 2019, affected many throughout the community. Her family has joined with Widefield Parks and Recreation and Woodland Wanderers to extend her celebration of life and enjoyment of exercise to the community with a noncompetitive walking event in her honor.

New this year, we have added a community bike ride, presented by the Security Lions Club.

Join us for a free walk or community bike ride and an opportunity to donate to the Tracy Vsetecka Scholarship Fund to continue her legacy.

Bring the entire family to the 21st annual celebration at Widefield Parks & Recreation to enjoy free youth activities, s'mores, cookies, hot cocoa, and more. Enjoy the holiday atmosphere of carolers, Santa, and shopping at the craft fair. New toys will be collected at the Recreation Center during November through the tree lighting.
