DIY Pool Party Pack – WPR Aquatic Center

Celebrate your special day your way with our DIY Pool Party Pack at the WPR Aquatic Center! This option is perfect for families who want the freedom to personalize their party while enjoying pool time during open swim.

Your party includes reserved tables and chairs, full access to the pool during open swim, and the ability to decorate your space however you’d like. Bring your own decorations, themed supplies, and party extras to create a celebration that fits your vision. The party pack includes admission to the pool for up to 25 people (adults and children), any amount over 25 will have to reserve a spot in the open swim session and pay the daily rate.

A dedicated party host will be available to assist with set-up, help with planning, and support both in-water and out-of-water activities throughout your event—so you can relax and enjoy the celebration.

This DIY package gives you flexibility, fun, and support all in one unforgettable pool party experience.

Celebrate your special day with us during our Open Swim! Birthday party reservations include access to the facility along with a designated party area for your group.

Party Time Frame:

Guests may arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of Open Swim to decorate and set up their party space. Once Open Swim begins, all participants are welcome to enjoy the pool and facility amenities.

Approximately 30 minutes before the end of Open Swim, a staff member will notify your group to transition out of the water for cake, presents, and celebration time in your reserved area.

At the conclusion of Open Swim, all party guests are asked to gather their belongings and exit the facility within 15 minutes to allow staff time to prepare for the next scheduled activities.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to ensure a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for all guests.

 

Private Mermaid Lessons

Dive into a magical underwater adventure where participants will learn to properly and safely swim with a mermaid tail, perform exciting mermaid tricks, and discover fascinating stories from mermaid mythology.

Whether you're a longtime mermaid fan or simply ready to try something new, this class combines swimming, fun, creativity, and a little underwater magic!

 Come make a splash and discover your inner mermaid or merman!

1 hour private = $40

1.25 hour semi-private (2 swimmers) = $60

Lifeguard Training

Looking for a great summer job? Get certified as a Lifeguard! 

This class provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. Participants who successfully complete the Lifeguarding course receive an American Red Cross certification for oxygen administration, valid for 1 year and Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. Participants must be 15 years or older and meet prerequisites. Please note: no refunds after registration deadline.

Lifeguard Training Prerequisites:

Swim 200 yards continuously; 150 yards front crawl, breaststroke or both, tread water for 2 minutes using only legs, then swim 50 yards front crawl, breaststroke or both.

Complete the following event in 1 minute & 40 seconds: starting in the water, swim 20 yards, surface dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point, then exit the water without using a ladder or steps.

Completed American Red Cross online coursework: Once you register for this class, you'll receive an email from the instructor with links and login information. You must complete the online portion (approximately 20 hours) of this class before the first classroom meeting.
