We have moved!

Widefield Parks and Recreation offices and daily operations have moved to the new WPR Recreation Center. We are currently open from 5:30am - 8:00pm, Monday - Friday and 7:30am - 4:00pm on Saturdays, to help customers at 755 Aspen Drive.

Memberships for the new WPR Recreation Center can be purchased in person at the Recreation Center or Pool.

Celebration at the Pool 
Lets MAI-TAI! Come dressed as a tacky tourist to be entered into a raffle and have a chance to win a COOL PRIZE! Come swim with us on Saturday, September 16 from 1 - 2:30pm! Please register your party for guaranteed entry! 

Fall Fun Day Picnic
Join Widefield Parks and Recreation and experience a picnic with your family while playing Bingo, water balloon games, a circuit race, chalk art competition, and more! Date: Saturday, October 14 @ 11am - 1pm. Location: WPR Green Field. Free fun for the whole family!

Painting P-art-y - Fall Aspen Trees 
This adult painting class is for beginners and seasoned painters alike. You will be taken step-by-step through a Fall Aspen Trees painting to take home and enjoy. Participants will learn mixing techniques and layering effects, no previous knowledge is necessary. Our art instructor directs you through the painting process to help bring out your inner artist. Every student will walk away with a canvas painting. No need to bring anything with you, except your creativity! Date: Wednesday, September 20 @ 6:30 - 8:30pm. Ages: 16 & Up. Fee: $25. Register by September 18. 

Sewing with Ms. P - Shopping Bags
Take some time for yourself and join us for sewing, good conversation and music. We will be making 2-sided shopping bags that fold up into a neat little pocket. There will be different materials to choose from. Date: Saturday, September 16 @ 9am - 12:30pm. Ages: 18 & up. Fee: $45. Register by September 8. 

Play With Us!

School is back in session but the pool is still open! Join us after school Monday - Friday from 3pm to 4:30pm, Friday nights from 5:30pm to 7pm, and Saturday afternoons from 1pm to 2:30pm! Use our SignUp registration system to reserve your spot!

Pool Open Swim hours will be changing on October 1 due to the High School Swim Team! Starting October 1, open swim is Friday nights from 5:30 - 7pm and Saturday afternoons from 1 - 2:30pm! Make sure to use our SignUp registration system to reserve your spot!

Teen Diversity Night
All teens need a place where they feel they belong. Teen Diversity Night provides a safe environment where teens can be free to be themselves and come together to experience a safe night of inclusion and fun. Teen Diversity Night is a night bursting with games, arts & crafts, resources, and dinner. Date: Friday, September 8 @ 5 - 9pm at Mesa Ridge High School. Ages: 7th - 12th grade. Fee: FREE Register by: September 7. 

Night Owlz 
We have openings in Night Owlz! Register your child for a fun night while parents take a well-deserved break from 6 - 9pm! Your child will have the opportunity to splash around in the pool, play games, create arts and crafts, and enjoy a movie to end the night. Pizza, juice, and pudding will be served for dinner. Ages: 7 - 12. Fee: $25. Date: September 8.

Hangout Hub
We have openings in the NEW Hangout Hub on Friday, October 6! Teens will have the opportunity to splash around in the pool, play games, and participate in open gym activities at the new Recreation Center. Pizza, drinks, and pudding will be served for dinner. Ages: 11 - 14. Fee: $25

NEW Adult Pickleball League
Join our first ever pickleball league! League play starts at 8am every Monday for 6 weeks, starting November 6. League is open to players 3.0 and above. Knowledge of the rules are required. The deadline to register is October 29! Only $60 per player!

Adult Pickleball Lessons
Come learn the fundamentals of the fastest growing sport in America! We are offering 2-day lessons for $40! Sounds like a great Dill! Make sure you register for our beginner or intermediate lessons! Relish the opportunity! Be sure to visit our website’s pickleball page for the full list of session dates. Great minds dink alike! 

Adult Coed Indoor Volleyball Tournaments
We offer Volleyball tournaments in October and November. The October tournament is our Halloween tournament. Winners receive halloween themed prizes. Prizes also given out to the best costume! In November, we host our Thanksgiving Turkey Tournament. Runner-ups receive pies and winners receive turkeys! Make sure to get your team registered for both!

CARA Cross Country
Don’t miss this chance to compete in cross country meets against other youth throughout Colorado. Meets will be held on Saturdays at locations from Denver to Fort Collins (participants are responsible for transportation to and from meets). Registration closes on the first day of the program, September 5. The season will take place between September 5 and October 14. Fee: $40.

Youth Indoor Soccer
Continue to play soccer as the weather changes. Games will take place indoors on Saturdays between October 21 and December 9. No practices except the time allowed before games. Register by September 18. Ages 4 yrs - 5th grade welcome. Fee: $40

Youth Volleyball
Join us to play volleyball this fall. Games will take place on Saturdays between October 21 and December 9. Register by September 18. Kindergarten - 5th grade welcome. Fee: $50

Get Fit With Us!

We have many fitness classes to choose from, check us out! View our current schedule or pick one up at the pool or WPR Recreation Center.

New classes! We are now offering more Bungee Fitness classes, MixxedFit, Youth Zumba, and Beginners Yoga, POUND and BODYPUMP! View our website for information about these classes, including dates and times!

Personal Training
Book our new one-on-one personalized Personal Training sessions (1 hour sessions). We have 4 different packages you can choose from starting at $188 for once a week sessions for one month. See our registration page for full pricing details. 

Martial Arts - September & October  
With martial arts as a foundation, participants have the opportunity to develop self-awareness and self-confidence. GOJO-RYU KARATE is a comprehensive martial art derived from the Okinawan system of self-defense. Participants of all skill levels can benefit from this program by relieving stress, help with weight loss, coordination, balance, flexibility, stamina, and assist in self-control. Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays in September & October @ 6 - 7:30pm (No class September 5, October 23, or October 25). Ages: 7 and older. Fee: $105. New Location: WPR Rec Center

Yogi Kids - September & October
An introductory youth yoga classes with focus on relaxation, fun, and movement! Yoga is a great activity to start at a young age; it enhances flexibility, strength, coordination, body awareness, and confidence. Dates: Wednesdays in September & October  @ 5 - 5:45pm. Grades: Kindergarten - 5th. Fee: $48. New Location: WPR Rec Center
